PRODUCTION
Divided into two sectors in the region of Abrantes and Marinha Grande, the production of cattle occupies an area of 600 hectares of pasture. Aviliz has a unit of 300 breeding cows of the limousine breed, as well as the fattening of their descendants, reaching a total of 500 beef cattle in permanent fattening.
Reproduction is made through 7 meticulously selected males, in freedom and by natural breeding, in order to guarantee a good performance, obtaining in the descending lines a superior quality at the level of the carcasses.
FATTENING PROCESS
Due to the extensive area of hardware, the fattening process is based on pasture, becoming slow and progressive, thus contributing to excellent quality meat and, in turn, greater acceptance in the consumer market.
The fattening of calves produced on our farms or purchased abroad is carried out intensively in our facilities.
